2 Steps to reset sa password for SQL Server Database

Step 1: Open SQL "master.mdf" file. Click the "Open" button (or select the "File | Open File" menu item), and then browse your computer to choose "master.mdf" file.. Typically, "master.mdf" file locates in the folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data


Step 2: Reset new password to sql sa user or other user. Select a sql user and click "Change Password"
